Brunch@11 - update February 2017

We have now had five Brunch@11 events, each with a simple theme. Numbers have ranged from 12 to over 30 (for our Shoebox packing event which was highly successful.) The format of shared food and chat, followed by a themed message and opportunities for prayer and song seem to be appreciated, and we continue to have new people at each event.

There is a simple theme for each occasion - for example our February Brunch focused on Candlemas, with candles at each table, and candles lighted by anyone who wished to for a special person or to say thank you for a particular gift.

In March, our focus will be Lent - Give it up or take it up?
And in April it will be Easter - What's the fuss?
Everybody is welcome, especially if they are not used to attending regular services.

We have just heard that we have permission from the diocese to remove the fixed rear pews and radiator which will make the space at the back of the church much more usable.
